THE QUAKISTS Azrael cannot believe that none other than Nicholas Scratch is asking for refuge in his new free clinic. Brian Bryan has to calm Jean-Paul down and Scratch explains that his actions during No Man's Land may have been caused by paranoia and even schizophrenia. For the moment, Jean-Paul agrees with Brian to give Scratch the benefit of the doubt. After sunset, Azrael goes on patrol and comes across Huntress who is observing a group of radicals calling themselves the Quakists. A Quakist with a megaphone stirs up the like-minded people around him to destroy anything that stands in their way. Huntress just attacks them and after a couple of moments Azrael joins her. It does not take long and the rage within him takes over. He really hurts some people until most of them flee the scene. Azrael returns to the church where Scratch offers him a cup of tea. Scratch put a drug into it which sends Jean-Paul into a deep sleep. Then Scratch takes away the new costume of Azrael and replaces it with the original one. When Jean-Paul awakes, some Quakists "invited" by Scratch are spilling gasoline to burn the church. Jean-Paul has no choice - he puts on his old costume to fight the intruders. But when the fight is over, Brian Bryan notices that one of the Quakists is dead ...
